The Datca Peninsula is situated just north of where the Aegean meets the Mediterranean in the southwest of Turkey.

There is a lot to explore in the surrounding area.  In addition to the small town of Datca nearby, the major tourist destinations of Marmaris and Bodrum are only an hour or two away.

This part of the world has been settled since ancient times so there are many Greek, Roman and Hellenic ruins to visit, some of them underwater.

It’s also a very popular water sports destination – swimming, snorkeling, sailing, boating, windsurfing, para-sailing are all available.  If you don’t have your own, you can rent a boat, with or without crew. It’s a great way to see the Turquoise Coast.
